The Old Bait House Art Print

Sketching her way around the Wellington coastline and turning it all into framed works of art via the Printing Press.

These pen drawings are converted into dry point etchings and the images are merged with Kirty's collection of pattern work - inspired by Fijian masi cloth, Samoan tapa and Maori whakairo. The landscapes are often captured in the oval, like an old black and white photograph then layered within Pacifica imagery.
