These are harsh, spectacular environments where wild winds whip over the ridge lines, cloud dramatically lifts and falls, concealing all from view, then clearing into hushed moments of marvel.

Paintings in this calendar come from Clare’s 2023 collection ‘Where Earth Pierces Sky’. Clare lives outside Dunedin and works as a full-time artist. Her passion and empathy for the natural environment and native birds is evident in all her work.
